I was born and raised in Florida around an imaginative family. Each of us had our own forté, mine was creativity. By the time I was eight, I honestly believed I could invent a time machine. It consisted of some old wood, bike reflectors, a spare tire and a few bottles of apple juice. Much to my dismay, it didn't work.
Soon after, my father introduced me to computers and I was quickly fascinated with the evolving technology. He taught me the basics and inspired me to learn more. I first explored my interest in computers by building simple programs in MS-DOS. It was when Windows 3.1 was launched that I had access to programs like Paint and Photoshop, all of which spiked my involvement with design. Through the following years, I spent my free time working with Photoshop and learning web design.
I first professionally explored these interests when I was employed by Volusia County Print and Copy as the Art Director. During this period, I further pursued my interests and learned to coordinate, develop and execute creative projects that helped to build brand loyalty. After that and through college, I began working for an exclusive technology and product provider for Tricon International as Art and Marketing Director. Here I learned how to effectively communicate brand awareness and studied many different key demographics that would help me to organize several successful campaigns.
Immediately after graduating college in 2005, I began my career at Car People Marketing, Inc. as Marketing Director and have been a key player in the development and launch of many multi-structural advertising initiatives. Each day, I analyze the marketing efforts and am responsible for developing innovative campaigns that will best promote the company's products and services. While maintaining a well balanced budget and directing the monthly corporate e-newsletter, I monitor lead activity and see that every opportunity is maximized for the national sales force.
Keiser University has asked me to speak on their behalf to graduating High School seniors about motivation and goal oriented success on several occasions. I enjoy getting the students excited about college and their futures. On my time off, you will find me at the computer seeking new ways to involve myself with an ever evolving world, playing xbox360 or enjoying the company of my beautiful girlfriend who is a very talented cook.
